École élémentaire publique Rose des Vents

Project Details

This large elementary school expansion would have taken at least half a year to construct were it not for tilt-up construction’s speed and efficiency. The 15,000-square-foot 14-classroom addition was completed in only two months.

Rose de Vents had an aggressive construction schedule and sought out methods to save time and deliver their project faster, while not undermining the end product’s durability.

This was only possible with tilt-up construction. Using 47 insulated and non-insulated concrete panels cast onsite in only a few weeks, the load-bearing panels were erected and finished in multi-coloured stucco that was directly applied. The ground-breaking took place in June, and the finished project was ready for students in September!
