Karis - Veldhuizen Residence

The Karis Home in Oxford County marks an exciting milestone in providing safe, inclusive, and supportive housing for individuals with developmental disabilities. This residence embodies Karis Disability Services – South’s mission of fostering belonging, independence, and community connection. Designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, the home offers a welcoming environment where residents can live with dignity and support tailored to their needs.

The project was made possible through the use of Tilt-Wall’s innovative and sustainable tilt-up construction technology, which allowed for an efficient build with exceptional durability and energy performance. This modern approach not only reflects a commitment to sustainability but also ensures long-term quality and adaptability for the residents who will call this space home.

Karis Disability Services extends its sincere gratitude to Ernie Hardeman, MPP for Oxford, and his government for their support, as well as to the generous landlord whose partnership and commitment made this development a reality.
