Tilt Wall is a subcontractor committed to bringing a superior building process to the construction industry and making the jobs of general contractors easier. Since we are involved in the construction of your building in the design stage, we fully understand the scope and the requirements to ensure a safe and efficient experience for everyone.
Onsite, our team prepares the site and pours the building’s foundation slab. On this large flat surface, and occasionally on an additional temporary slab, we will create the forms for the tilt-up walls. Next, our team installs the steel reinforcement, embeds and conduits – everything required for the walls, with the convenience and safety of being at ground level. Concrete pour, insulation installation and another concrete pour ‘sandwiches’ the walls and are cured in a matter of days.
A large crane is then brought to the site to carefully lift each panel in place. The speed of the process is quite remarkable; our experienced tilt-up crew can erect as many as 40 panels in a single day!
Each step is managed by Tilt Wall’s highly experienced design and construction personnel, allowing general contractors more time to manage their many tasks.
