We work closely with the design team on a project to save both time and money. Involving Tilt Wall Ontario at the beginning of a project allows us to propose cost saving alternatives while guaranteeing the value of the building.

The construction method we use at Tiltwall Ontario affords owners a cost-effective, energy-efficient, durable building product with great architectural versatility and appeal. We produce structures for offices, warehouses, sport facilities, food storage and handling facilities, and livestock housing buildings.

The Project Manager is accountable for working with sales to develop optimized proposals and leading and delivering multiple projects of varying degrees of complexity and scale, from the Proposal stage through to on-site construction and effectively balancing the competing demands of quality, scope, time, and cost; ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCY:

Required

– A minimum of 3 years of experience as a senior detailer or junior project manager, with at least 1 year in a leading role on complex projects.
– Demonstrable record of project coordination on projects similar to Tilt Wall’s
– A Construction Engineering Technologist (or similar) Diploma

Knowledge, Skills and Competency Requirements

– Knowledge of Revit or other equivalent systems (e.g.: AutoCAD)
– Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Excel, Word, etc
– Knowledge in light gauge steel fabrication, connections and erection practices
– Knowledge of construction methods, contingency planning and value added techniques
– Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
– A team player, who can connect and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a friendly, yet demanding, work environment
– Ability to handle a variety of stakeholders, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS
