Project Details
Tilt Wall was chosen as a subcontractor to address the challenges of this 10,000 sq.ft. processing facility in Woodstock, Ontario.
Copper stripping is a very loud process, and so one of the key dilemmas that our client needed to address was determining how to build a durable structure, while also greatly reducing sound emanation.
Built of two layers of concrete sandwiched with insulation, Tilt Wall’s 24 insulated concrete panels greatly reduced the facility’s noise. The durability of the concrete walls will also help to ensure the building stands generations, while providing the owner significant cost savings for heating and cooling the space.
