Project Details
The Cody Warehouse is a state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facility located in London, Ontario. Completed across 2023 and 2024, this landmark project marks a significant achievement for Gap (Canada) Inc., combining scale, innovation, and strategic planning to meet the demands of a modern supply chain.
Spanning over 500,000 square feet, the warehouse was constructed using 170 tilt-up concrete panels. All poured on-site with remarkable precision. Among these, 166,345 square feet were insulated panels, and 10,126 square feet were non-insulated. The largest panel measured 1,633 square feet. With the widest panel reaching 32 feet and the tallest rising to 58 feet. The heaviest panel came in at an impressive 206,105 pounds. The team applied a textured coating to all panels, ensuring durability and visual uniformity.
Construction began in mid-May and progressed at an accelerated pace. Panel lifting reached the halfway mark early on, and steel erection followed seamlessly. Allowing the project to maintain its aggressive timeline. The speed and coordination demonstrated throughout the build reflect the high level of collaboration among all teams involved.
General contractor Dancor and architectural design firm Architectural Design Inc. built the Cody Warehouse with a focus on efficiency, performance, and scalability. Its completion enhances Gap (Canada) Inc.’s logistics network. And strengthens its operational footprint within Canada.
Additionally, it is strategically located in the City of London with immediate access to Highway 401. With this direct access to Highway 401, the facility drives efficient distribution across Ontario and beyond. As a key addition to the company’s infrastructure. This warehouse stands as a symbol of forward-thinking development in the warehousing and distribution sector.
